Trunk Bay named World’s Best Beach by travel experts

St John, USVI: The Trunk Bay Beach of the US Virgin Island ranked number 1 among the World’s 50 best beaches in 2024. This acknowledgment marks the unwavering commitment and dedication of the tourism ministry towards offering all visitors the most relaxing atmosphere with a vision to make their visit memorable and comfortable.

The annual rankings were given by the travel experts and influencers who explored the most breathtaking beaches around the world. On the basis of that, these travel lovers have passed their judgement. 

Trunk Bay Beach is known for its crystal-clear water, lush tropical surroundings, pristine white sand, vibrant coral reefs, and marine life, which makes the beach the most relaxing place for the visitors as it offers them calm in the chaos.

The US Virgin Island’s Department of Tourism shared that “Trunk Bay and the other beaches of the island nation hold a very special place in the hearts of those people who consider the country as home.”

The Tourism Ministry is also making continuous efforts with the vision to attract a large number of tourists to explore the unparalleled and magnificent beauty of the country. 

Moreover, the tourism authorities also added that this achievement is a testament to the memorable experiences the beach offers to all its visitors, ensuring their travel filled with unforgettable and beautiful memories. 

They also expressed delight on Trunk Bay, being ranked as number 1 beach and added that it will play a huge role in attracting large number of visitors to the island nation which will further enhance the economic conditions of the country, leading the island nation towards growth and development.

• Trunk Bay of the US Virgin Islands was placed in first position.
• Meads Bay Beach of Anguilla ranked third. 
• Grace Bay of Turks and Caicos secured the 17th spot. 
• Seven Mile Beach of Cayman Islands received the 26th position. 
• Grote Knip of Curacao secured the 27th spot. 
• Horseshoe Bay Beach of Bermuda received the 28th spot. 
• Maundays Bay of Anguilla secured the 30th position. 
• Grand Anse of Grenada secured the 34th spot. 
• Pipe Creek Sandbar claimed the 42nd position. 
• Cayo Levantado of the Dominican Republic secured the 43rd position. 
• Varadero Beach of Cuba received the 47th spot. 
• Eagle Beach of Aruba claimed the 49th position.
