The Aiden by Best Western Hotel has officially opened in Guyana, marking a remarkable start to the chain in the Caribbean with a vision to offer all the guests and visitors with elite amenities and luxurious experiences. The opening of the hotel is anticipated to be a string which will not only boost the tourism sector but will also enhance the economic conditions of the country.
As per the details, the hotel has already employed over 70 Guyanese, which sheds light on the positive impact that has been initiated by the Government of the country.
The hiring of 70 local people is a testament to the unwavering commitment of the authorities towards addressing the unemployment gap in the country, offering employment opportunities, and contributing to the overall economic development of the nation.
The President of Guyana, Dr. Irfaan Ali lauded a 100 per cent Guyanese-owned company, Arimu Investments for their contribution to the nation’s development.
He also praised the quality of the world-class, 138-room boutique hotel located at Robb and Oronoque streets and stated that they are adamant to provide rich quality experience to all the visitors. He emphasized that the hotel reflects the country’s development drive and the commitment of the Government towards building a strong, sustainable, and vibrant economy.
“I am convinced beyond a shadow of a doubt that we are heading in the right direction, and we know our destination will be a resilient Guyana,” noted President Irfaan Ali.
This Aiden by Best Western Hotel is expected to provide all the guests with executive chauffeur services, shuttle bus tours around Guyana, Demerara River tours and much more. This hotel is the 12th Aiden Hotel worldwide and the first in the Caribbean and South America.
Moreover, the Prime Minister of Guyana, Mark Phillips, also attended the official opening of Aiden by Best Western. He stated that this newest addition to the hospitality sector of Guyana would play a huge role in offering modern amenities to all visitors, catering to their diverse needs and amenities.
