Young Jamaicans to get coding education
Adding to the country’s growth, thousands of young Jamaicans will be trained as software developers to generate cutting-edge technologies within the Amber HEART Coding Academy.

Jamaica: As a developing nation, Jamaica is undergoing various improvements. Adding to the country’s growth, thousands of young Jamaicans will be trained as software developers to generate cutting-edge technologies within the Amber HEART Coding Academy.
Prime Minister, Andrew Holness officially launched n Thursday (January 14).PM Holness stated that the coding academy would significantly improve citizens’ employability, particularly the nation’s youth, and serve as a revolution for the new digital transmutation age regionally.
He added, “The co-operations that you could provide as an outcome of this is incredible; the benefits, exponential. It will create a new industry, providing new possibilities for young Jamaicans.”
Purpose of learning coding in software
The government of Jamaica wants citizens to obtain superior coding skills through an immersive learning environment while also furnishing those young buds with the soft skills to change their outlook and mindset. Furthermore, this modality will allow us to keep the students safe during this lethal pandemic and lead them to a glorious career in the slightest space of time.

Kim Gordon commented, “This is amazing! This is probably the top field worldwide, and Jamaican youth have always had the brains to learn this skill. So glad to see this initiative starting on the island. I knew it would only be a matter of time.”

New strategy to ensure equal rights on land in Jamaica
In the Ministry of Housing, Environment, Urban Renewal, and Climate Change, Certificate of Title Handing-Over Ceremony, PM Holness, and several ministers stated this new strategy. According to PM Holness, This Housing strategy works on the earlier plan of action, which is now operating in Jamaica. It is called ”sites and service programs.” It is incremental development.
PM Holness announces, “the people who run government only they can understand social injustice in the aspect of the land, The aim is to giving people to land access, giving people to equal land, every single Jamaican can have access to land.”
