Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: The officers of the Western Division recovered one Glock 23 pistol and ammunition in Carenage on Friday. As per police reports, the firearm and ammunition were found in the bushy area.
According to the information, the officers of the Western Division said that they received an information about the pistol and they responded to the matter and executed an intelligence led exercise in L’anse Mitan.
The exercise was conducted between the hours of 4:00 am and 6:00 am and while searching in the vicinity of Thompson Circular, the investigating officers discovered one Glock 23 pistol, loaded with 13 rounds of .40 ammunition in a bushy area.
The further enquiries of the matter is ongoing by PC Taylor. The authorities urged the people with any information to come forward and record their statement at the Western Police Division and assist them in their investigation. The police have carried out their search for a person in connection with the findings.
Recently, the Trinidad and Tobago Police Services conducted a Safe Street Operation, which resulted in the recovery of GLOCK pistol and ammunition in Los Iros Junction. The investigation of the matter is ongoing by WPC Vesprey.
