Trinidad and Tobago (A) won against Grenada in Jewels of Caribbean Tournament
Trinidad and Tobago Team A defeated Grenada in the second game of the doubleheader at Larry Gomes Stadium in the Jewels of the Caribbean Under-17 Women’s Invitational Tournament.

Trinidad and Tobago Team A defeated Grenada in the second game of the doubleheader at Larry Gomes Stadium in the Jewels of the Caribbean Under-17 Women’s Invitational Tournament. The match had commenced at 3 pm.
Notably, it was a 4-1 win for the team A as the goal scorer from Trinidad and Tobago A was J’Eleisha Alexander, 18’,32’ and Orielle Martin, 66’,77’. Whereas, Hailey Mcintyre, 79, was the only player who scored a goal for Grenada.

Furthermore, Trinidad and Tobago (B) faced St Vincent and the Grenadines in the first match of the doubleheader. The match was played on the same day at 1:00 pm.
Team B of Trinidad and Tobago went down 1-0 to St Vincent and Grenadines in the opening match of the Jewels of the Caribbean U-17 tournament. Meiya Wilson scored a goal for St Vincent and Grenadines and led her team to victory.
It is to be noted that Jewels of the Caribbean U-17 Women’s tournament will run over four days with doubleheaders at Larry Gomes and Hasley Crawford Stadium.
Further, the next match of the tournament will be played between St Vincent and the Grenadines and Grenada at Hasley Crawford Stadium. The match will start at 4:00 pm on Sunday, 17 December 2023.
Trinidad and Tobago (A) will compete against St Vincent and the Grenadines in the second game of the day. The game will be played at the same place at 6:00 pm.
Moreover, two games are scheduled for 18 December, 2023 as well. The first match will be played between Grenada and Trinidad and Tobago Team B at Larry Gomes stadium at 1:00 pm.
The second game will take place between Trinidad and Tobago Team A and St Vincent and the Grenadines at the same stadium. The match will begin at 3:00 pm.
It is to be hereby mentioned that the finals will take place on 20 December 2023 between the top two teams of the tournament.
