St Kitts: PWD to initiate property condition survey for road rehabilitation project
Public works Department (PWD) of St Kitts is to conduct a property condition survey over the next few weeks to assess the condition of properties. This will be conducted within 100 ft of St. Peters Main Road and FT Williams Highway East.

St Kitts and Nevis: The Public Works Department (PWD) of St Kitts will conduct a property condition survey over the next few weeks to assess the condition of properties. This will be conducted within 100 feet of St Peters Main Road and FT Williams Highway East.
This activity to be conducted is part of the road rehabilitation project, aiming to assess the condition of the properties before any demolition work begins on the project.
While informing this, the Public Works Department appealed to the public to be cooperative and allow the team to do their work. Also, they mentioned that the survey team will have the identities, will follow the safety rules to ensure the security of the public.
“We kindly request your cooperation in allowing our survey team to access your property to conduct the survey. The survey team will be carrying identification and will follow all the safety protocols,” mentioned the department.
Also, the department while keeping in mind the concerns the public can have, announced that in case they have any concerns regarding the survey, they can contact the department.
Last year in August, the Prime Minister, Terrance Drew shared the news with the public about taking significant steps for the rehabilitation of St Peter’s Main Road and F.T Williams Highway East.
In the beginning of January this year, the PM also announced that the work regarding the rehabilitation project is in progress. While informing this to the citizens, he as well highlighted the positive impact that the project can bring in the infrastructural development of the country.
“The initiative marks a significant step forward in our commitment to enhancing infrastructure and better connectivity for all citizens,” mentioned the PM.
Such a statement by the Prime Minister represents the dedication of the Government towards improving the communities of St Kitts and Nevis.
“Together, let’s build a better future,” quoted the PM in this regard.
