Citizenship by Investment Programme of St Kitts and Nevis has been declared as the World’s Number one in the CBI Index 2021. The recent accomplishment has made it the leader of the “economic citizenship industry”.
CBI Index is yearly published by the PWM Magazine, a publication of the Financial Times. The report has also crowned St Kitts and Nevis as the fastest CBI under the Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF)

CBI Index report examined the CBI based on its work and services in the citizenship industry. The scoring was given in nine pillars or factors. St Kitts and Nevis is also sharing its position with the neighbouring country Commonwealth of Dominica.

St Kitts and Nevis, alongside Dominica, secured the first position by leaving behind 12 others. St Kitts and Nevis was the first nation to bring the Citizenship by Investment programme in the world during the 80s.
Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF)
SGF was introduced by the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Timothy Harris, in the year 2018. SGF is the most affordable, direct, and secure route to a second citizenship.
The CBI Index 2021 report stated that Sustainable Growth Fund (SGF) is the fastest route to obtain second citizenship from the country. All applicants, after paying a premium, can take benefit from faster processing which takes only 60 days, and in some cases, only 45 days of processing.
Under SGF, a single applicant must make a minimum donation of – US$150,000. This option is also attractive for families that if there are four people in a family (excluding siblings), under the exclusive offer, a family of four can obtain citizenship under the SGF for the same cost as a single applicant.
Accelerated Application Processing
Accelerated Application Processing (AAP) has been the backbone of ithe CBI Programme that helped to achieve the current position. Within a time period of 60 days, AAP fastens the processing on all applications, while in some cases, it only takes 45 days to complete the process.
Those who do not want to pay premium facility can take advantage of the standard processing, which only takes 90 days to process the applications.
