The Colombian suspects who have been arrested for the assassination of the Haiti’s President Jovenel Moise. Colombia’s President Iván Duque stated that they might be having the full details of the plan for the Assassination of President Moise.
Colombia’s President Duque said the majority of the Colombians had been deceived as they were told they would work as bodyguards in Haiti. He stated that there had been a small group among the arrested suspects those were having detailed knowledge of the plan.
US Defence Department highlighted that their have been some Colombians those have been trained by the US army while they were giving their services in Colombia army. The Haitian police have arrested a Haitian doctor. They said that he might be the key suspect in assassination.
Police are still searching for what they call the “mastermind” behind the plot.
21 presidential guards are being questioned by judicial police. At the same time, the Haitians have been going forward in their investigation of the assassinations of President Jovenel Moise 1 week ago at his private residence.
Chairman of CARICOM PM Gaston Browne refused for the plan of military presence in Haiti. He expects that the country has been doing the investigation sufficiently to find the reason and person behind the assassination of their President Jovenel Moise, who was shot dead last Wednesday.
Martine Moise said the attack that killed her husband happened in the blink of an eye, without even giving President a chance to say a word. Martine Moise said in the audio message that has been posted on her official Twitter account on Saturday. This was the first her first interaction after the attack that shook the whole of Haiti.
In the message that was in Creole, Martine Moise said that the mercenaries were sent to only kill her husband and Haiti’s President for the only reasons because of roads, water, electricity and referendum as well as postponement elections at the end of the year so that there is no change in the country’s administration.
