Six contestants unveiled for St Kitts and Nevis Queen Pageant
The Management of the Carnival asserted that they have a faith in the strength of all the six queens, competing at the St Kitts and Nevis Queen pageant that they will bring laurels to the cherished tradition of St Kitts and Nevis.

St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival has unveiled six ambassadors who will grace the stage with their charm, elegance and beauty for the highly anticipated St Kitts and Nevis Queen Pageant. This event is a part of the activities of the carnival season of the island nation, Sugar Mas 53.
Sugar Mas is a month-long carnival season which is filled with fetes, pageants, cultural events, Grand Parade and many more. This year Sugar Mas season will take place in the island nation from December 13, 2024, to January 2, 2025 under the slogan “There is only one place to be SugarMas53.”
The St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival has introduced six contestants for the 2024-2025 Miss St Kitts and Nevis Queen Pageant. The contestants that will be participating this year includes, Jutambien Kelly, Vanessa Simon, Daneika Dickenson, Tyanna Richards, Tonia Manners and Mikaya Collins.
While shedding light on the pageant, the authorities of the Carnival stated that it is not just a competition but a duty of all the contestants to showcase their poise, strength and their unwavering commitment to the values they hold. They noted that all these six queens are not just contestants but an embodiment of the spirit of the people.
“Under the watchful eye of the crown, you will rise, carrying the hopes of your communities and the pride of your heritage,” noted St Kitts and Nevis National Carnival.

This year, the authorities have also introduced the swimsuit showcase in order to provide contestants with an opportunity to shine in two different segments while keeping the main competition concise and crowd-friendly. The Carnival Chairwoman, Shannon Hawley stated that the introduction of swimsuit showcase will play a huge role in maximizing the entertainment of all the attendees.
The Minister of Creative of St Kitts and Nevis, Samal Duggins stated that the carnival has always been about togetherness and support for all. From the cherished folklore and vibrant mas camps to private event promoters, they have always stood by them, providing the resources needed to keep the spirit of carnival alive. He asked all the citizens to celebrate the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation.
