It is not the first time that the non-resident High Commissioner of Dominica Scott Furssedonn-Wood has come to the nation. Earlier, in January 2023, he reached Dominica to explore the beauty and hidden gems.
During the above-mentioned visit, he also met with President Charles Savarin and Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit. At that time, he was cordially welcomed by PM Skerrit, who also invited the High Commission to attend the Cabinet of the Commonwealth of Dominica.
Along with this, Prime Minister Skerrit also took to twitter to express his warm welcome. He tweeted, “Dominica is pleased to welcome Scott F Wood – British High Commissioner to Barbados & the Eastern Caribbean and his delegation, who is on an official visit to our island. We look forward to fruitful discussions over the next four days.”
He also paid a visit to the project sites in the Kalinago Territory and Portsmouth while exploring new collaboration areas. Various fruitful and productive discussions were done between the UK High Commissioner to Dominica and the Prime Minister of Dominica, who was accompanied by his Cabinet.
