“Safety and security of St Kitts and Nevis is of paramount importance,” says PM Terrance Drew
The government of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis has recently held a meeting with the High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and Defence Force of St Kitts and Nevis.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The government of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis has recently held a meeting with the High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and Defence Force of St Kitts and Nevis. During the meet, the authorities had a discussion about the safety and security of the nation. The meeting was headed by the Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew.
Following the fruitful and successful meeting, PM Drew took it to social media and stated, “The safety and security of our nation is of paramount importance.”
Furthermore, he informed, “We held a very productive Joint Security Meeting this morning with the High Command of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF) and the St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, as well as the National Security Advisor, Major General Stewart Saunders to discuss the recent homicides in the Federation and the strategic plans going forward.”
It is worth mentioning that over the years, the government of St Kitts and Nevis has been making concerted efforts to address this issue and improve public safety in the country. One of the key measures that the government has taken is the establishment of a number of specialized law enforcement agencies. These agencies include the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, the Financial Services Regulatory Commission, the Financial Intelligence Unit, and the Customs and Excise Department. Each of these agencies has a specific mandate and is responsible for different aspects of law enforcement and crime prevention.
In addition to these specialized agencies, the government of has also implemented a number of other measures to improve public safety and reduce crime.
