Roosevelt Skerrit talks about bilateral ties in a meeting with UAE’s Minister Reem Al hashimi

Roseau, Dominica: During his visit to Dubai, UAE, Dominica’s Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit had a meeting with the Minister of State and Managing Director for the Dubai World Expo 2020 Bid Committee – Reem Al Hashimi.
Both of them held fruitful discussions on bilateral relations and looked forward to various ways how they could enhance the ties between UAE and Dominica.
Earlier, Prime Minister went to attend the Dubai Expo 2020, where he ministered to the Dominica Pavilion.
Dominica’s relationship with UAE –
Both the countries share a good deep bond of friendship. The Commonwealth of Dominica has established diplomatic relations with the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on December 17 2014.
The Caribbean island nation, on January 21, 2020, opened its embassy in Abu Dhabi that was inaugurated by PM Skerrit himself. This was the first mission of Dominica to Abu Dhabi and the entire Middle East.
So far, the island country has built strong bilateral ties with more than 140 nations across the world.
