Footage has shown dozens of birds lying lifeless on the roads of Rome. The reason has been unidentified, but the question is how this Massacre happened?

Attila Marton tweeted, “Fireworks are an unnecessary source of stress for urban wildlife. Hundreds of dead birds were found this morning on Rome’s streets, which died due to collisions with windows, buildings, and powerlines. Ban fireworks & happy 2021!”

On the other hand, Shafqat Ali Quereshi wrote, SAY NO TO FIREWORKS! Rome street covered in dead birds after New Year fireworks Deaths of birds occurred during Rome fireworks for New Year. Hundreds of birds killed covered a central Rome street in the aftermath of last night’s fireworks for New Year.”

Fatima Kosar tweeted, “I wanted to be happy today, the first of the new year, but I was saddened to hear that hundreds of birds were dying in Rome for fear of the sound of Christmas fireworks. How selfish we humans are.”

The reason behind this Massacre is unidentified. According to the International Organization for the Protection of Animals, firecrackers’ loud noise scared them to death. Whereas the fire destroyed the nests of those birds is another assumption. People have tweeted more than often, “Hundreds of birds dead after fireworks in Rome. Fireworks are stupid.”

Indian Police Service, Rupin Sharma also tweeted, “Rome street covered in dead birds after New Year fireworks Dead birds covered a Rome street in the aftermath of fireworks for New Year. The disoriented birds, startled by the explosions, are thought to have died after flying into windows and high voltage electricity cables.”

Ian Broughall tweeted,” Hundreds of lifeless birds were found lying around the Termini train station on Via Cavour in Italy’s capital Rome on New Year’s night. The actual cause of this death is unindentified, but Diego Finecchia believed it was connected to firework shows that took place in the city to mark the beginning of new year.”
