Results of 3 matches of Antigua Premier League of Week 9

The Antigua and Barbuda Football Association hosted the other three matches of Week 9 of the Antigua Premier League on Sunday, 28th January 2024. All three games were played at the same venue, ABFA Technical Centre, at different times.

The first match of the day was played between Parham Football Club and John Hughes Football Club at 4:00 pm. The players of both teams performed very well and displayed their best game. However, Deno Bryan led his team to victory by scoring two goals, thus stealing the game. Therefore, the game was won by John Hughes Football Club by a score of 2-1.

• Deno Bryan scored two goals for his team in the 42nd and 77th minutes of the gameplay.
• Rashid Burton of John Hughes Football Club was unfortunate enough to score an own goal, resulting in the final score of 2-1. 

The next game of the day was played at 6:00 PM between Willikies Football Club and Greenbay Hoppers Football Club. Both teams fought hard until the last minute of the game in an attempt to win. The score was tied at the end of normal time, which meant that tensions were high as stoppage time began.

Kareem Martin took advantage of an opportunity and contributed with a goal for his team, taking them to a hard-fought victory.

• Javorn Stevens scored a goal in the 35th minute of the game.
• Kareem Martin scored a goal in the second-half stoppage time.

The last game of the day was between Empire Football Club and Ottos Rangers Football Club. The game began at 8:00 p.m. Despite the efforts of players of both teams, Empire Football Club won the match by a score of 2-1.

• Lee Andrew Nicholas scored two goals for his team in the 21st and 34th minutes of the gameplay.

• Josue Arias scored a goal in the 9th minute of the gameplay.

The last game of Week 9 of the Antigua Premier League is still left to be played, and it will be conducted on Monday, 29th January 2024.
