PM Terrance Drew visits Cayon and St Peters to take view of ongoing projects
Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, visited several places to analyse the ongoing projects of the island nation in the towns of Cayon and St Peters on Wednesday, 10 February 2023.

Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew, visited several places to analyse the ongoing projects of the island nation in the towns of Cayon and St Peters on Wednesday, 10 February 2023.
While sharing updates on his projects, he stated that the St Peters Main Road project is officially in progress. He also added that this project will play a pivotal role in enhancing the infrastructure of the island nation. With the development of this project, they aim to bring a sense of security, safety and better living for all the citizens of the island nation.
PM Drew also mentioned that the commencement of the project highlights the unwavering dedication and commitment of the government to improving their community and providing a safe livelihood for all the residents of the community.
Moreover, PM Drew also shed light on the making of the new bus stop for the community of St Peters. While focusing on the significance of the project, PM Drew stated that this will enhance the transportation facilities, which will ensure convenient and sustainable mobility for the residents.
“As we build towards a more connected and commuter-friendly community, your support and patience are truly appreciated. Stay tuned for updates on this transformative development,” said PM Drew while sharing the pictures of the work on Facebook.
In addition to that, the Prime Minister also went to the various sites of Cayon and shared updates on its multiple projects. On visiting the well site, the PM noted that BEAD has been progressing the well. The residents of Cayon will soon be provided with the needed water facilities. This project will play a huge role in tackling the water scarcity issues faced by the community residents.
The leader of the island nation also shared the updates on the community centre of the town and said that the work has reached its culmination stage.
Furthermore, PM Drew also visited Cayon High School and, sharing the updates, stated that the reconstruction of bathrooms has been done. Also, alumni, parents, staff members and principal Ms Wattley have undertaken the task of painting the school and they also received applause for their efforts and contribution.
PM Drew said “It is his privilege to work for the people of Cayon and serve them with the best facilities for a better living.”
The people of the island nation have extended their gratitude and appreciated the diligent and tiring work done by the government for the betterment of the nation.
