Weather Updates: St Kitts and Nevis may witness increased cloudiness and passing showers
St Kitts and Nevis will witness partial clouds with periods of increased cloudiness and a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers, according to meteorological service.

St Kitts and Nevis: As of March 7, 2022, the twin-island federation will witness partial clouds with periods of increased cloudiness and a 60 percent or moderate chance of showers, according to the information shared by the meteorological service of St Kitts and Nevis.
The service department further exclaimed that nights might be fair to partly cloudy with a 40 percent of a moderate chance of brief passing showers.
While informing about the weather at 7 in the morning, the weather was quite fair with a moderate breeze of 17mph towards east. The temperature informed by the department was 24°C or 76 F and around 76 percent of humidity.
According to the meteorological department of St Kitts and Nevis, the sea level pressure at 7 pm was 1016.1 mbs or 30.00’’. The predicted sunrise and sunset was 6:24 am and 6:19 pm, respectively.
While informing about the wind speed and intensity, the weather centre reported, East-north at 16 to 24 mph, gusting as high as 31 mph during showers, as well as over open waters and in elevated areas.
The department further mentioned that seas would witness north-easterly swells of 1.5 metres or 5feet with 1.5 to 2.8metres or 5 to 9 feet. Both high surf and small craft advisories remain in place mainly for the north and eastern coastlines of the Islands.
While informing about the weather forecast of Eastern Caribbean, “Across the Eastern Caribbean from the BVI southwards to Trinidad and Tobago, we can expect partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a high chances of brief passing showers as a moderate to brisk trade wind-flow continues to transport pockets of low-level moisture over and around the Islands, as well as the presence of a weak frontal trough providing some moisture and instability in the atmosphere mainly across the northern Islands.”
