Vietnamese Ambassador virtually meets Secretary of Foreign Affairs and Foreign trade of Barbados
Vietnamese Ambassador Duyen said that since Barbados and Vietnam have been sharing 26 years of good relation and friendship to continuously developed and strengthened.

Barbados permanent secretary of Foreign Affairs and Foreign trade Trade Simone Rudder met virtually with Vietnamese Ambassador to Venezuela and Barbados Le Viet Duyen during the online meeting to discuss for building up the new measures for boosting up the trade between both the countries.
Vietnamese Ambassador Duyen said that since Barbados and Vietnam have been sharing 26 years of good relation and friendship to continuously developed and strengthened.
The Vietnamese people and their government always pay great importance towards any relation with Barbadians and together these both countries perform in many fields and try to make more strong relations in them which include in education, investment, trade, technologies.
He also told the Barbados official of the consequences of the 13th National Congress of the Communist Party of Vietnam and leading political, business and cultural attainments achieved by Vietnam following 35 years of Doi Moi (Renewal).
Rudder said that Vietnam and Barbados are two countries that saw many cooperation opportunities in fields like trade, agro-sectors, trade, education, and investment. They both focus mainly on exchanging cultural heritage conservation of each other country and marine resources management and its better usage and development.
Rudder stated that Vietnam is a vital gateway in entering the ASEAN market, with more than 650 million people.
Rudder said that her ministry would assign a number of draft framework arrangements on trade and investment collaboration and double taxation delay to the Vietnamese Ministries of Foreign Affairs, and Industries and Trade, in order to encourage and develop the multifaceted partnership between the two countries.
The Barbados side also will study the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding on collaboration between the 2 countries’ Chambers of Commerce and promote the likelihood of building the Barbados-Vietnam Friendship Association and therefore the Barbados-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce to contribute to lifting the bilateral relations to a replacement height, she added.
