Trinidad Police working to curb crime incident

The Police officers of Trinidad and Tobago have taken the initiative to curb crime at its root. Accordingly, they took help from three citizens and found Firearms, ammunition and Narcotics during an anticrime exercise conducted by the officials.

Trinidad and Tobago conducted an anti crime exercise and seized firearms and drugs.

The Police officers of Trinidad and Tobago have taken the initiative to curb crime at its root. Accordingly, they took help from three citizens and found Firearms, ammunition and Narcotics during an anticrime exercise conducted by the officials.

As per the information, the officials executed a search warrant in a dwelling house at Fitt Street, Montrose, Chaguanas.

On searching the house, the authorities discovered 128 grams of marijuana. Subsequently, a man was charged with the offence of:

–         Possession of Marijuana

Afterwards, the authorities proceeded to the Railway Road, Enterprise, Chaguanas, where another search warrant was executed by the officials.

On searching another premises, a clear plastic bag was found by the officers.

The things that plastic bags were containing:

–         A quantity of cocaine

–         One firearm, which was fitted with a magazine and one round of ammunition.

Two men were arrested by the authorities in connection with the things found in the bag.

The investigation is ongoing by the Police officers.

The anti-crime exercise has been done earlier also as the Police department taking every possible step to decrease the crime rates.

As just a few days back, four suspects were arrested and three firearms were seized by the officials of Trinidad and Tobago during the exercise, which was conducted in the Central and North Central Divisions.

During the exercise, the authorities stopped a motor vehicle and discovered two males sitting on it. On searching the vehicle, the officials found one Glock pistol, which was loaded with a magazine containing 15 rounds of ammunition.

Subsequently, the officers conducted a search on the house, which was under surveillance and the officials found one pistol loaded with a magazine containing six rounds of ammunition in a bedroom.

Therefore, two men between the ages of 45 and 21 were apprehended.

Meanwhile, the officers of the North Central Division conducted an Operation Blue Line exercise and they stopped a motor vehicle with two male occupants sitting on it.

On searching the vehicle, one revolver loaded with three rounds of ammunition was found and seized by the officers.

Thus, Trinidad and Tobago officers are doing their best and making every possible effort in order to stop such crimes by arresting the culprits.
