Trinidad and Tobago: National Care fair 2021 to be held on weekend
The Ministry of Health has informed that the National care Fair 2021 will be conducted from Friday, October 29 to October 30 (Saturday). The timing will remain from 9 am to 3 pm.

Port-of-Spain, Trinidad and Tobago: The Ministry of Health has informed that the National care Fair 2021 will be conducted from Friday, October 29 to October 30 (Saturday). The timing will remain from 9 am to 3 pm.
This fair will include free screening for cancer, blood sugar, blood pressure, body mass index(BMI), and free health consultations for the citizens. This event is being conducted by the public sector and civil society partners.
Besides this, free vaccination will be provided at the following locations on the days of the national care fair –
- Paddock (Queen’s Park Savannah)
- COSTAATT (El Dorado)
- Sangre Grande Civic Centre
- UTT Chauguanas Campus
- Southern Academy for the Performing Arts (SAPA)
- Lowlands mall
The health ministry has encouraged the citizens to take advantage of free vaccinations, free health consultations and free screening and to ensure that the COVID-19 health protocols are not violated by them.
This initiative of the Trinidad and Tobago government is to advance its management programme of Non-communicable diseases (NCD), which can be achieved by having a healthy lifestyle.
The media release of the health ministry further cites that, “The increased risk faced by the individuals with Non-communicable diseases (NCD) who have contracted COVID-19 has been further outlined the need for health interventions of this nature.”
This national care fair 2021 is presented by the Office of the Prime Minister – Communications, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Youth and National Development, and the division of Health, Wellness and Family Development, Tobago House of Assembly, along with the Regional Health Authorities, the Trinidad and Tobago Medical Association, the Trinidad and Tobago NCD Alliance and the Inter-American Development Bank.
