Taliban invites 6 new allies on inauguration ceremony of newly formed administration

The Taliban is ready to announce their new government in few days in Kabul. Before few days Taliban had given invitations to its six partners, after which they have been asked to attend the inauguration ceremony.

This step would be the first step towards making good foreign relations with the partners. Some reports point that the Taliban has invited Russia, China, Turkey, Iran, Pakistan and Qatar.

Pakistan

The US army said that they would not have been defeated in such conditions if Pakistan would not do not have Taliban Headquarters in its territory. During the time the US was at war with the Taliban, Pakistan was the only supporter of the Taliban.

It is said by many organisations that Pakistan provided support to the Taliban to bring down the Panjshir resistance group. The Taliban have said that they will not allow any country, including Pakistan, to interfere in their internal affairs.

China

As the US exits from Afghanistan, China enters the country through diplomatic relations but still many other countries China had adopted “wait and watch” policy to recognise Taliban as the government.

Russia

Russia is out of many countries that engage with the Taliban for a short period of time. Russia also helped the Taliban for negotiations through the “Moscow Format”. According to this format, the six-party mechanism for discussions between special representatives of the countries like Russia, Afghanistan, China, Pakistan, Iran and India.

Iran

After taking the decision to work with the new Taliban Administration and celebrating the departure of US forces from Afghanistan, they said that America’s military defeat would become an opportunity to restore life, security, and durable peace in Afghanistan.

Turkey

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said that Turkey would cooperate with the new Taliban administration rather than criticise them.

Qatar

Qatar did not recognise the regime of the Taliban from 1996 to 2001 but also maintained good relations with the militant group.
