St Lucia: Supporting local produced items and spreading health awareness, Prime Minister of St Lucia, Allen Chastanet took it over to social media with his picture drinking coconut water at Desruisseaux, Micoud, Saint Lucia.
PM said in his personal post “A guava or a coconut a day, helps keep the doctors away” adding the hashtags to support local production and help keeping your body healthy amid the periods of COVID-19.
Coconuts are especially rich in manganese which is essential for bone health and the bosst of metabolism of carbohydrates, proteins and cholesterol. Copper and iron is also major source from coconuts, which helps formation of red blood cells as well as selenium, protectant of your cells.

It is noteworthy that St Lucia is among the Caribbean nations which are facing severe spread of COVID-19. In recent few days, St Lucia has recorded consistant cases of coronavirus. There are currently 265 confirmed cases and 2 deaths
