Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of the Federation of St Kitts and Nevis – Dr Terrance Drew, has shared an update regarding the measures and strategies being implemented by the security forces for the safety and security of the country and its citizens.
The Prime Minister shared a social media post by St Kitts and Nevis Information Services (SKNIS) and informed that a press conference was held by the High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force. The conference was held by Commissioner of Police James Sutton.
The Prime Minister, through the post by SKNIS, informed the general public, “The High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force, led by Commissioner James Sutton, held a press conference this afternoon.”
The press conference was organized to update the residents and citizens of St Kitts and Nevis about the measures and strategies being implemented by the law enforcement body to ensure the safety and security of all.
The press conference was organized at the Police Training Complex of Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis.
A day earlier, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew shared a social media post emphasizing the importance of the safety and security of the nation. PM Drew outlined that the safety and security of our nation are of paramount importance.
Prime Minister Dr Drew participated in a productive meeting with St Kitts and Nevis Defence Force, the National Security Advisor – Major General Stewart Saunders, and the High Command of the Royal St Christopher and Nevis Police Force (RSCNPF). During the meeting, the prime focus was on the recent homicides that happened in the country; along with this, the security authorities and prime minister also discussed the strategic plans going forward.
St Kitts and Nevis Government has assured that the work to ensure that the security agencies maintain a zero-tolerance approach to crime will continue, and the authorities will always focus on preserving law and order within the island country.
