Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Samal Duggins, the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries, Marine Resources, Entrepreneurship, Cooperative and Creative Economy, congratulated the students of St Kitts and Nevis for shining the spotlight on scholarship awardees.

Samal Duggins expresses his emotions and outlines that he is overwhelmed after seeing such a remarkable response. He also mentioned that he is very happy and glad to be a part of the Finding Your Passion Scholarship prize-giving ceremony.

The Minister took to social media to share a glimpse and his emotions with the general public of St Kitts and Nevis.

The Agriculture Minister Duggins outlined, “Gratitude fills the air as I reflect on the Samal Duggins Finding Your Passion Scholarship prize-giving ceremony.”

He added, “It was an emotional and tear-jerking experience at the St Kitts Marriott Resort, marking a transformative journey that began 18 years ago and was re-launched in 2021.”

This scholarship is a holistic approach to education, cultivating well-rounded individuals with a focus on passions, claimed the Agriculture Minister of St Kitts and Nevis.

Furthermore, Minister introduced the beneficiaries and outlined that it would be a remarkable journey. Additionally, he anticipated that the students must have a journey filled with growth, discovery and countless opportunities and chances.

The social media post by Minister read, “Meet the trailblazing awardees who are redefining success through the Samal Duggins Finding Your Passion Scholarship. Orrin Hughes, Haley James, Anthony Pedereaux, and Kaaliyah Pereira are the remarkable winners for 2022-2023. Ready to embark on a transformative journey are the latest recipients: Darnye Williams, Imari Liburd, Treviah James, and Najique Forde for the year 2023-2024.”

He further added, “May your paths be illuminated by humility and guided by your passions. As you journey forward, remember that your purpose awaits. Here’s to the years ahead, filled with growth, discovery, and endless possibilities.”
