St Kitts and Nevis continues annual Cabinet Ministers School Visits for 41st Independence
The Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis continued with their visits to schools as a part of their 41st Independence celebrations on Thursday, 12th September 2024.

The Federal Cabinet of St Kitts and Nevis continued with their visits to schools as a part of their 41st Independence celebrations on Thursday, 12th September 2024. The students of the various public and private primary schools in the Basseterre zone got a chance to meet and interact with the members and have an interactive session with the leaders.
The visit was led by the Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew, accompanied by Minister of Foreign Affairs – Dr Denzil Douglas, Minister of Energy – Konris Maynard, Minister of Tourism – Marsha Henderson and many others.
The Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew and the other Cabinet members visited the Deane Glasford Primary School, the Halliday-Smith Primary School (formerly The Irish Town Primary School), Epworth/Maurice Hillier Memorial, Beach Allen Primary School, The George Moody Stuart School (Factory School), Seventh Day Adventist Primary and the Tucker Clarke Primary schools as part of their visit.
While sharing the glimpses of his visit to the schools, Prime Minister Dr Terrance Drew stated that it is always exciting to spend time with children, engaging with them and witnessing their determination and vibrant spirits is truly fulfilling.
The Prime Minister stated that these students are the bright future of the Federation who are filled with immense knowledge and a desire to work for the development of their country.
“The Federal Cabinet spent another productive day visiting schools and connecting with the children, who represent the bright future of our Federation,” noted PM Terrance Drew.
Earlier this week as well, Prime Minister and the other Cabinet Members made their visits to the schools. During their visits the members conducted several exciting activities that require problem-solving and critical thinking skills that can help improve their cognitive abilities.
Prime Minister stated that they are adamant to make continuous efforts in order to build a society where every child can flourish and reach their full potential. And this visits to the schools by the Cabinet Ministers ahead of 41st anniversary of St Kitts and Nevis’ Independence Day marks their commitment to unite every child and instil a sense of pride and motivation in them towards building a stronger and developed nation.
The island nation will celebrate their 41 years of independence on 19th September under the theme “Together, a People, Proud and Strong: Independence 41.” The theme shed light on celebrating the collective achievements and to continue to building a future filled with hope and togetherness.
And, these annual Cabinet Ministers School Visits will conclude on September 17 when the ministers of government will make their visit to the secondary schools and Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College (CFBC).
