Siemens collaborates with K&K Group to assist green energy project of St Kitts and Nevis
The Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew was present at the Siemens Office at the Expo Pavilion on Thursday in Dubai where the signing of MOU between Siemens and the K&K Group was held.

St. Kitts and Nevis: The Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis, Dr. Terrance Drew was present at the Siemens Office at the Expo Pavilion on Thursday in Dubai where the signing of MOU between Siemens and the K&K Group was held. The partnership between both prestigious firms is aimed at exploring the development of the Green Energy sector in St. Kitts and Nevis.
Such collaboration between both the firms with the objective of the development of the Geothermal plant will lead towards building a Sustainable Island State. “The partnership represents hope in our quest to build a more resilient, sustainable and climate smart future,” mentioned the Prime Minister.
Through this statement, the PM outlined the positives that are to be welcomed by the federation through such a valuable partnership of both the firms. This as well projects the idea to build strategic partnership for the goal of renewable energy transition.
Considerably, this partnership as well marks the developmental step towards CARICOM’s commitment to the security of energy in the country. This even leads towards fulfilling the promises made towards fostering sustainability in the country.
On Wednesday, the Prime Minister of St. Kitts and Nevis also had a meeting with the delegation of K&K Group led by Chairman Dr. Tejeddine Seif which aimed to support the initiatives being taken forward on the Geothermal Project.
The Geothermal project will provide support in the preservation of natural resources that will offer the benefits to the people of the country for the longer run, and is the true epitome of the developmental actions being taken for the sustainable development in the federation.
The growth in the country would extend multiple of the benefits emphasized on the economic boost in the country. The opportunities through the project would not only be centered on specific areas but also will offer education and training opportunities in the sustainable energy technologies.
During the meeting, the K&K firm as well highlighted the valuable contribution that Siemens Energy would bring towards the management of the renewable energy infrastructure.
