CMO of Saint Lucia, Dr Sharon Belmar-George, announced on Monday that there are three new cases of COVID-19 in the country.
The three new cases of COVID-19 brought the total number of patients diagnosed in Saint Lucia to 223 so far.
All of the new cases are placed under quarantine after being tested and assessed for COVID-19, while their test results were awaited.
So far, the contact tracing team has not been able to establish an epidemiological link for these three cases to any of our prior cases, and investigations are ongoing.
Arrangements were made to take care of the confirmed cases.
115 is the new total number of active cases in the country currently.
At present, all of the active cases are stable and doing well.
To date, a total of 106 recoveries are recorded in Saint Lucia.
The Ministry of Health reminded the public that anyone who is tested for COVID-19 is placed under quarantine while awaiting the result of their test.
During this time, such individual shall remain home until a health care practitioner contacts them with their results.
These individuals shall not leave home for work or any other matters, and no one should visit their homes.
