Saint Lucia: Education Ministry announces support to PAP participants
Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development and Innovation announced that the support and assistance to the participants of the Post Primary Alternative Pathway Programme (PAP) has been continued.

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Ministry of Education, Sustainable Development and Innovation announced that the support and assistance to the participants of the Post Primary Alternative Pathway Programme (PAP) has been continued.
The details regarding the same were shared by the Ministry through social media. The update informed, “Saint Lucia Social Development Fund (SSDF) and the Education Quality Improvement Project (EQuIP) continued to provide support for students participating in Post Primary Alternative Pathway Programme (PAP) administered at the Centre for Adolescent Renewal and Education Limited (CARE).”
Additionally, the minister shared a report regarding the event and outlined the important facts, figures and stats associated with it.
Saint Lucians praised and lauded the government and Education Ministry for such efforts. Some even stated that the authorities have been putting effort days and nights to provide proper, modern and necessary knowledge and education to the young generation.
The details regarding this programme were shared by the Ministry a few days after the opening of schools and other educational institutes in Saint Lucia. The students went back to the educational and academic institutes on September 4, 2023.
Following the opening, the ministers met with the students and staff of the schools to wish them luck for the upcoming academic year.
It is to be noted that as the first term of the academic year 2023/2024 got underway, Minister for Education, Sustainable Development, Innovation Science, Technology and Vocational Training, Shawn Edward, and several ministry officials, including Parliamentary Secretary Dr Pauline Antoine-Prospere, visited several of the nation’s schools to wish students, teachers and principals a happy and productive year.
The students, staff and other associates with the schools and educational institutions were guided and informed about the various security and precautionary measures.
