Trinidad and Tobago: The government is urging fully vaccinated individuals to get their booster shot as soon as possible. People must carry valid identification proof and their vaccination cards while going to centres to receive a booster shot.
WHO-approved, Astrazeneca, Sinopharm, Johnson and Johnson, and Pzifer COVID-19 vaccines are being administered at the health centres on the island for booster shots.
Following are the names of the vaccination centres administering the third jab –

At present, the government of Trinidad and Tobago is administering COVID-19 booster shots in-phase mode. The Individuals are eligible to receive their booster shots based on the date they previously took their second or the final dose of the vaccine.
The past year in the last month, the island saw a massive increase in the daily COVID-19 infections, which declined in the previous week of December 2021.
Additionally, two police officers lost their lives to the contagious viral disease. The deaths of Police Constable Shelford Kinsale and Police Constable Anthony Mohammed were confirmed on January 4 and 3, 2022. respectively.
Trinidad and Tobago government’s efforts to curb the spread of the virus are finally seen to be fruitful. The death rate in Trinidad and Tobago amid COVID-19 has also been decreased.
In addition, according to the health ministry report, around 48% of the total population is only fully immunised against COVID until January 5, 2022.
