PM Terrance Drew celebrates Good Friday, looking forward to Easter
Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew celebrated Good Friday with his labour people and Constituency #2 at the Easter Egg Hunt.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrance Drew celebrated Good Friday with his labour people and Constituency #2 at the Easter Egg Hunt.
While shedding light on the day, he took to his official Facebook account and shared glimpses of the celebration and added, “Today on this Good Friday I felt so good to be among my Labour people and the good people of Constituency #2 at their Easter egg hunt.”
PM Terrance Drew appreciated Tourism Minister Marsha T Henderson for her unwavering commitment and dedication towards organizing this event so that the children of the Federation could have a great time together.
“Well done to Hon. Marsha T. Henderson, the children had a wonderful time!” noted PM Drew. He also extended congratulations for making the event successful and memorable for all the attendees of the event.
Good Friday which is also known as Christian’s holy day is celebrated annually. This day is marked as the crucifixion of Jesus and his death at Calvary. Following this, PM Drew will celebrate Easter on 31st March 2024.
Easter is a celebration of peace, love and happiness as the day observes Jesus’ resurrection from death as described in the New Testament of the Bible. The leader of the nation has stated that this year, easter will be commemorated in the island nation with vibrant and entertaining activities whose main motive will be to make the event memorable and entertaining for all the attendees.
PM Terrance Drew has also extended an invitation to all the citizens to celebrate the extravagant and fun activities in order to celebrate the Easter festival.
Moreover, Deputy Prime Minister of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Geoffrey Hanley extended a welcome to citizens in East Basseterre for the Grand Easter Egg Hunt and Kite Flying Festival which will be conducted today on Saturday, 30th March 2024. The celebration will be conducted at Newtown Playing Field and will offer a magnificent experience to all its visitors.
The attendees will be provided live music lots to eat and drink games under the patronage of Dr Geoffrey Hanley.
Minister of Sports, Agriculture, Creative Economies and Cooperatives, Samal Duggins appreciated Dr Hanley for his commitment to the senior’s wellbeing and for organizing the Kite Flying Festival which brought citizens of the Federation to celebrate laughter, camaraderie and fun.
