PM Drew highlights oneness of St Kitts and Nevis, focuses on development

St Kitts and Nevis: The cabinet discussions between PM Drew of St Kitts and Nevis and the Premier of Nevis, Mark Brantley, fostered the details for achieving a sustainable island. In the discussion, the major emphasis the PM laid on is that the people from both St Kitts and Nevis are one and should work together.
The primary focus of the meeting was the Geothermal project that is under collaboration. Moreover, marking the oneness of both St Kitts and Nevis, he highlighted that the joint efforts will lead towards steady growth and development.
Adding to it, he also outlined that the Nevis holds the resources which are useful and will serve the people of St Kitts and Nevis. This collaborative move would be proven the best for the transformation.
Aligning to it, the PM this week had a meeting with Minister of Energy, Konris Maynard who said that the authorities are moving towards the path. Also, the PM added that people who belong to Nevis will get the same opportunity as the people in St Kitts.
Considering this, PM Drew said, “ We want to embark on a number of initiatives where we can collaborate and make sure that the benefits come to both the people in the country.”
Moreover, he mentioned the health facility that is in the Nevis, which is the CT scan facility, and the people from St Kitts can get the benefit of it. Similarly, in any of the facilities that are in St Kitts, people from Nevis can arrive at the place to get the benefits. As the authorities are together to work, added, “St Kitts and Nevis is one country.”
The Prime Minister assures that all the actions taken in the nation will be taken by considering both islands as one, so that could benefit the people of both St Kitts and Nevis.
