PM Andrew Holness congratulates Jénine Shepherd for winning title of Best Youth Leader in Education, Art & Culture
Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, congratulated the owner ‘Youths for Excellence,’ Jénine Shepherd.

Kingston, Jamaica: Prime Minister of Jamaica, Andrew Holness, congratulated the owner ‘Youths for Excellence,’ Jénine Shepherd, for winning the title of Best Youth Leader of the Year in Education, Art and Culture at the Second Annual Anthem Awards. PM Holness took it to social media and stated, “One of our own, Jénine Shepherd (@shepherdjenine), has been named the Best Youth Leader of the Year in Education, Art & Culture at the 2nd Annual Anthem Awards for her work spearheading the multinational, award-winning NGO, Youths For Excellence Limited, currently serves 7 Caribbean countries and the USA.”
He added, “Congratulations, Jénine, on a remarkable accomplishment that reflects the dedication and hard work that you have put into your role as the leader of Youths for Excellence Limited. Your success is a testament to the boundless potential of our young people, and it should inspire us all to strive for excellence in all that we do.”
Along with this, Youths for Excellence also took to social media handles to congratulate its owner for her outstanding work. “Surprise! Our Founder @shepherdjenine has copped a Bronze Anthem Award at the 2nd Annual Anthem Awards this year for Best Young Leader of the Year in the Category of Education, Arts & Culture!” the post by the start-up noted.
While expressing the pleasure, it noted that they join other honorees like Lil Nas X, Amanda Gorman, Planned Parenthood, UNICEF, Rihanna’s Clara Lionel Foundation, Michelle Obama’s When We All Vote, The Dalai Lama, Etsy, The Oprah Winfrey Network and many other huge players in the NGO sector.
“We are grateful for the honour and recognition, especially from such a prestigious judging panel that the @anthemawards boasts. Hats off to @jessicalauretti and her entire team for creating a space to honour the work of NGOs globally,” it concluded while expressing gratitude.
