St Vincent continues to encounter volcanic eruptions for the past few days. The condition of St Vincent is terrifying, and people need immediate humanitarian assistance.

As per the NEMO, the situation is still horrifying, and people must exercise extreme precaution to guard themselves against the volcanic ashfall and pyroclastic flows.

As St Vincent and the -Grenadines encountered an unprecedented crisis, many nations and organizations have come forward to provide help to the people and government in need of the hour.

On Tuesday evening, Galleons Passage delivered in St. Vincent with emergency supplies from Trinidad and Tobago. 50 members of the Trinidad and Tobago Defence Force left the canal this morning to offer physical assistance following the La Soufrière volcano’s eruption.

Additionally, St Kitts and Nevis have guaranteed the aid of $1 million; besides, it will also assist families containing two or three members. As per the Prime Minister, Timothy Harris of St Kitts and Nevis, the purpose is to provide shelter to 300 evacuees from St Vincent.

Dominica has also declared to provide free service and internet services to evacuees coming from St Vincent.

Venezuela has also given out 17,000 litres of water, non-perishable food, beddings and personal hygiene satchels to St Vincent.

USAID has also ensured to deliver the US $ 100,000 worth of support to the volcano ridden nation. It stated that they are gathering resources to provide support to St Vincent and the-Grenadines.

Demerara Distillers Limited (DDL) has cooperated with the Civil Defence Commission (CDC) to deliver $13.3m of St Vincent and the- Grenadines.

The organisation will be delivering a total of 10,000 cases of its bottled 20oz Diamond Mineral Water, as well as 500 cartons of 1.14 litres alcohol-based Environment Sanitising Cleaner, a declaration from the company asserted.
