Month-long affair “Tobago Heritage Festival” to celebrate their cultural traditions

Tobago: Tobago is all set to host the 37^th edition of the Tobago Heritage Festival, commencing from 1^st July and continuing till 1^st August 2024. A month-long affair will be conducted with a vision to celebrate and preserve the vibrant culture and traditions of the island nation.

The island of Tobago shines brightly as a hub for festivals, culture and the performing arts. It has lot to offer to all its visitors in order to provide them with an unforgettable and memorable experience.

The tourism authority of Tobago has also unveiled the details about the Ms. Tobago Heritage Personality 2024. For the same, the Tobago Festivals Commission Limited has extended invitation to all the villages or the community groups. They have asked them to register their candidate for the selection of Ms. Tobago Heritage Personality Competition.

The 37^th edition of Tobago Heritage Festival will be conducted under the theme “She Becomes more Beautiful.” The theme sheds light on enhancing and promoting the talent, beauty and charm of the person by displaying the rich cultural heritage of the country.

The tourism authority of Tobago also shed light on the requirements for the applicants to get themselves registered. The applicant must be between the ages of 18 and 40 and should submit a short video depicting the reason why they should be selected for the Ms. Tobago Heritage Personality 2024.

The applicant must have a minimum of 3 O Levels and should be prepared to screen on Saturday 8^th 2024. It will give them a platform to showcase their talent including dance, song, drama and instrumental for not more than 2 minutes.

The interested individual can submit their application to the Tobago Festivals Commission Limited through an email: tobagofestivals@gmail.com. The individuals have been asked to use the headline ‘Application for Ms. Tobago Heritage Personality 2024.’

The last date to submit application is 31^st May 2024, Friday by 4:00 pm. This event is a great opportunity for the citizens to celebrate the diversity of the country and celebrate the local customs, dishes, dance, music and many more of Tobago.

The festival will also play a significant role in attracting visitors from all over the world in order to promote the diversity with a mission to safeguard the cultural heritage of Tobago.
