Minister Hilaire hosts Children’s Christmas Party in Bananes

Castries, Saint Lucia: The Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia, as well as the member of parliament serving for the Castries South, Ernest Hilaire, hosted a Children’s Christmas party in Bananes.

Minister Hilaire expressed his delight in witnessing the joy and smiles on the faces of the kids. He further distributed gifts as a season greeting to every child.

“It brings great joy to see the smiles on the faces of the kids as they receive their gifts and play with the other kids. Season Greetings”, the deputy prime minister stated.

The parliamentary members for the Castries South took to his official Facebook handle to share glimpses of the celebration.

It is to be noted that Minister Hilaire visited St Joseph prior to Bananes to celebrate the series of festivities with children.

Unfortunately, the weather was not good, but that did not limit the fun and enjoyment of the children.

Upcoming Children’s Christmas Party Schedule

Saint Lucia celebrates the festival of Christmas with great zeal, warmth and excitement. Many competitions and events are going to take place to celebrate the culture and occasion together.

The schedule of the Children’s Christmas Party was inaugurated on December 9 and concluded on December 16, 2023, in different constituencies.

Minister Hilaire is all set to visit the following venues,

  Time: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

• Date: December 16, 2023
  Venue: Ciceron
  Time: 2:00 pm – 6:00 pm

Notably, the parties will feature a proper feast and games during the celebrations.

Additionally, more competitions and events are going to be held from December 17-22, 2023, such as Hamper Distribution, Christmas Solo, and the Black Cake and Sorrel Competition.

Moreover, the Deputy Prime Minister of Saint Lucia has always taken an interest in community affairs and actively participates in one-to-one talks with members of the constituency.

As Saint Lucia is famously known for its party-hard spirit throughout the year, the country showcases multiple unique and beautiful places for travellers to spend their Christmas in one of the most breathtaking islands in the Caribbean.
