Minister for Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Douglas extended gratitude to all the employees working in the St Kitts Electricity Company Limited for their unwavering contribution and dedication towards their work on the occasion of National Employee Appreciation Day.

Basseterre, St Kitts and Nevis: The Minister for Foreign Affairs of St Kitts and Nevis, Denzil Douglas extended gratitude to all the employees working in the St Kitts Electricity Company Limited for their unwavering contribution and dedication towards their work on the occasion of National Employee Appreciation Day.
St Kitts and Nevis celebrated the National Employee Appreciation Day on 1st March 2024. The day was celebrated with the motive of acknowledging the tireless efforts of the employees towards their work and for the organisation’s development.
Minister Douglas took to his social media account to extend best wishes to all the workers and thanked them for their dedicated and exceptional services despite all the obstacles coming their way.
“Thank you for your dedicated Service. Through hurricanes, storms, high winds, hot sunny days and heavy downpours. you find a way to restore our electricity in a timely fashion…Even though in recent times we’ve experienced some outages, we sincerely hope everything will be rectified,” mentioned Denzil Douglas.
Minister Douglas also made a request to all the citizens to recognize and appreciate the work of the employees by lighting up the candles, torches and lamps.
Minister Douglas added, “Let’s show them our appreciation because even though we have candles, lamps & torch lights we prefer turning on our switches.”
Moreover, the St Kitts Electricity Company Limited also extended wishes to all their workers on National Employees Appreciation Day. The organization is powered by the determination and focus of every employee working in the team. From the linemen to every customer service representative, each one has played a crucial role in ensuring reliable electricity to all.
