Trinidad and Tobago: High Commissioner -Of India in Trinidad and Tobago, Arun Kumar Sahu, criticized Prime Minister Keith Rowley regarding a letter over vaccine procurement dispute.
Earlier, PM declared that the opposition (UNC) are not obliged to write a letter to the respective country over internal affairs, as it is against the country’s rules and regulations.

In an interview with a Trinidad and Tobago’s national television show on 31st of March, High Commissioner Arun Kumar Sahu stated, “Diplomacy is not only one-sided connection, but diplomacy is always to construct and use your strength to perceive what you want for your nationwide interest.”
On protocols, Mr Sahu asserted that in many high-level visits to a particular nation, “that is bilateral visit and normally it happens, the visiting leader engages the opposition leader and, with the consent of ruling regime & its standard method in visits.”

While in the interview, he also accepted that he was the one who passed the opposition leader Kamla Persad’s letter to Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi over procurement of vaccines.
High Commissioner Arun Kumar Sahu also declared that GOI is working tirelessly to make 40,000 vaccines possible to the people of T&T.
Additionally, Mr Sahu announced that India had not suspended their vaccination drive; it’s just performing through a “Phased Manner “.
He also banged some of the colonial media who are giving misinformation about India’s respective vaccine drive.
After a long wait when vaccines arrived from India, Kamla Prasad took all the credit for the vaccine’s availability. However, the fact is Kamla and Keith both are working for the nation’s people.
The vaccines arrival gave a sense of relief for the residents, and now the subsequent most considerable dispute for the nation is to vaccinate each and every citizen of Trinidad and Tobago.
