Zamia: After Hakainde Hichilema secret of having a hidden daughter came out, new revelations has been made by the media. It has been revealed that Hakainde Hichilema’s real name is something else, and he had not only been hiding his daughter’s identity but his own as well.
Hakainde Hichilema, who is the President of the United Party for National Development, Zambia, was born as Sunny Chintombwa and had been hiding his real name ever since. His followers are facing backlashes one after another from their party leader.

Hakainde Hichilema’s father’s name is Chintombwa, while the name Hichilema comes from his maternal grandfather. As per reports, Haikaide grew up in the house of his uncle at a place called Tara between Choma and Kalomo. His uncle Mr Hamaleka is now the Chief Hamusonde of Bwengwa in Monze District.
Police records in Namwala, Monze and Mazabuka shows that Hakainde Hichilema’s father always had some issues going around with the police and was always involved in a disagreement with the law as a cattle rustler. Chintombwa stockpiled a massive number of cattle which he later transferred to his children.
People believe that it is immoral for Hakainde to hide his father’s name even though he had some disturbing history associated with it. It was his biblical duty to honour his father’s name, which he couldn’t fulfil.
It appears that the reason behind Hichilema hiding his real identity could be that he didn’t want to reveal from where he inherited enormous wealth and by what means he got all of that.
Besides revealing his real identity, Hakainde Hichilema also had a massive hidden secret. He has a daughter from another woman that he never acknowledged publicly. The poor girl Chi-Chi had been restricted to visit her home country and is currently in the United States.
She was born in the same year as his eldest daughter Miyanda and is studying at Murray State University just like her sister.
The people only came to know about Chi Chi after a local journalist from a student radio decided to interview the only Zambian students at the University. The interviewer talked to Chi Chi and her sister Miyanda.
The interview was aired in March 2015 by the WKMS Radio, where they talked about their biological father, whom they referred to as an economist, businessman and also a farmer.
