Grenada Football Association unveils squad for CONCACAF Under-20 Championship

Grenada: The Grenada Football Association unveiled the squad for the 2024 CONCACAF Under-20 Championship. It is to be noted that the games will be played in St Kitts and Nevis Football Technical Centre.

Notably, 27 teams will be participating in the tournament divided into six groups. All the groups are named as Group A, B, C, D, E and F. Grenada has been placed in the Group F along with the other teams including, Jamaica, Bermuda and Martinique.

All these teams will compete against each other and the first two teams will get the chance to perform further in the knockout stage of the tournament. Following the round-robin play, the teams sitting at the first position from each group will move ahead toward the CONCACAF Men’s Under-20 Championship. The teams will join the six pre-seeded top-ranked nations.

Meanwhile, at the end, the top four semi-finalists will qualify for the FIFA Men’s U-20 World Cup 2025.

The other Caribbean nations participating in the tournament include St Kitts and Nevis, Dominica, Anguilla, St Vincent and the Grenadines, British Virgin Islands, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Barbados, Suriname and Antigua and Barbuda.

2. In their second game, Grenada will play against Jamaica on 26^th February 2024.
