General Elections: Nevis Premier Mark Brantley congratulates PM Dr Terrence Drew, SKNLP for thumping victory

St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis, as well as the leader of Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) – Mark Brantley, has extended congratulations towards the newly elected Prime Minister of the twin-island Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrence Drew and St Kitts Nevis Labour Party.

General Elections: Nevis Premier Mark Brantley congratulates PM Dr Terrence Drew, SKNLP for thumping victory

St Kitts and Nevis: Premier of Nevis, as well as the leader of Concerned Citizens Movement (CCM) – Mark Brantley, has extended congratulations towards the newly elected Prime Minister of the twin-island Federation of St Kitts and Nevis, Dr Terrence Drew and St Kitts Nevis Labour Party.

He congratulated the leaders for thumping victory in the general elections, held on August 5, 2022 (Friday). Premier Brantley also optimised to work hard, be transparent and build the nation better.

He took social media and stated, “I congratulate Prime Minister Dr Terrence Drew and the St Kitts Nevis Labour Party for winning a majority of seats in general elections on Friday. May we focus on healing and Nation building.”

Furthermore, Premier Brantley also thanked the people of Nevis for re-electing his political party – Concerned Citizens Movement, on the sister island (Nevis). However, he extended special thanks to the residents of Constituency #9 for voting him against the members of the Nevis Reformation Party (NRP).

He cited, “While I have thanked the people of Nevis for their support and congratulated them on their conduct during this election cycle, I want to use this opportunity to thank specifically the people of Nevis 9, St Paul’s and St John’s for trusting me again as best person to represent their interests in Basseterre, St Kitts.”

Premier Brantley added, “Since my first Federal election in the year 2007 and for the 15 years and the 4 Federal elections since then, the people of Number 9 have time and time again said that they have full confidence in my servant leadership.”

“I am humbled by the support and thank all the residents for trusting me to always act in their best interest. St John’s and St Paul’s, THANK YOU. I shall never disappoint you,” he penned down.

St Kitts and Nevis witnessed general elections 2022 on Friday in which St Kitts Nevis Labour Party claimed a major victory in St Kitts, whereas it was a great triumph for the Concerned Citizens Movement in Nevis.
