Duke, Duchess of Cambridge receive warm welcome from Bahamian PM Davis
Prince Williams and Duchess Kate have reached The Bahamas on March 24, 2022 (Thursday) to complete their tour to the Caribbean Region.

Bahamas, Caribbean: Prince Williams and Duchess Kate’s Caribbean visit is in the last leg. Duke and Duchess have reached The Bahamas on March 24, 2022 (Thursday) to complete their tour.
The Royal couple laded at Lynden Pindling International Airport in Nassau, where they were warmly welcomed by the Prime Minister of the Bahamas, Philip Davis. While welcoming them to the country, the PM stated that the trip was “long overdue”, and he also extended his best wishes to Queen Elizabeth ahead of the Platinum Jubilee celebrations.
PM Davis was quoted as, “The Bahamas has been looking forward to your arrival. It’s long overdue. We are delighted you are here. Our best wishes are sent to the Queen, and congratulations on her Platinum Jubilee.”
The Prime Minister’s office took Twitter to acknowledge the visit by 39-year-old Duke and 40-year-old Duchess.
A message by PMO of The Bahamas read, “The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge arrived in the nation’s capital this afternoon and paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister and Davis.
The Bahamas is the final leg of Their Royal Highnesses’ 8-day Caribbean tour, marking the occasion of Her Majesty the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
While here the Duke and Duchess will attend a number of events highlighting Bahamian culture.”

Earlier in a private meeting with Prime Minister Davis and his wife, Prince William and Duchess Kate were gifted a beautiful portrait hand painted by Bahamian Celebrity Artist Jamaal Rolle.
The Royal couple has been accompanied by their three children – Prince George (8-year-old), Princess Charlotte (6-year-old), and Prince Louis (3-year-old). This trip is on behalf of the long-reigning monarch – The Queen, to celebrate her 70th year on the throne.
The tour commenced on Saturday, March 19, as the couple landed in Belize and will be concluded on Saturday, March 26.
