Dominica: Tourism Minister Denise Charles invites public to Dive Fest event in Soufriere
The Minister of Tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica – Denise Charles, has extended her heartfelt invitation to the general public to attend the Dive Fest Main Stage Event.

Soufriere, Dominica: The Minister of Tourism of the Commonwealth of Dominica – Denise Charles, has extended her heartfelt invitation to the general public to attend the Dive Fest Main Stage Event.
The event is all set to be organized by the Ministry of Tourism in cooperation with the Soufriere Scott’s Head Gallion Village Council on Friday, June 30 2023 (Tomorrow) from 3 pm to 6 pm.
The reports have stated that the Dive Fest Main Stage Event will be held following the Free Diving Competition, where several athletes and sports people worldwide took part. A large number of crowds and participants were attracted to the competition and experienced the adventures of the underwater sport, said reports.
As per the shared information, Tourism Minister Charles took to her official social media handle to invite the citizens and residents of Dominica to the Dive Fest Event.
In this context, she wrote in her Facebook caption, “It’s Dive Fest Time! All roads lead to Soufriere on Friday for Dive Fest 2023!” she stated that the fest is going to be the hub for the celebrations for the people cherishing the underwater sport.
Minister Denise Charles uploaded an invitation flyer on her Facebook account mentioning all the details and sections to be featured during tomorrow’s Dive Fest main event.
It is outlined that various distinguished events will feature different activities for the attendees, such as Free Dive Award, Drinks and Sea Food.
Furthermore, the participants who participated in the Free Diving Competition will be awarded the Free Dive Award for their extraordinary underwater skills and remarkable performances. Along with this, the attendees will also enjoy cocktails, drinks and seafood during the fest to make it more engaging and delightful.
In this regard, the reports have also outlined that the main event will also feature the appearances of renowned music bands such as Triple Kay and First Serenade.
During the fest, the bands will perform their famous original songs in front of the Dominicans. In addition, The band will be accompanied by famous DJs during their performances, including DJ Shyster, DJ Drixx and DJ Sakis, with non-stop music beats.
In the end, the Minister of Tourism, Denise Charles, updated that another similar event named Entertainment and Activities will be held in St Peters Constituency on July 2, 2023, which will also hold a number of different activities and celebration events.
