Roseau, Dominica: Windsor Park Stadium of the Commonwealth of Dominica has been chosen as a venue for the first test match between the West Indies and India. This match will be played from July 12 to July 16, 2023.
The test match at the field of Dominica marks the commencement of India’s Tour of the West Indies, which will start on July 12 and will end on August 13, 2023.
The Government and the people of Dominica have expressed immense pride and gratitude as the nation was listed to host an international match. Prime Minister Dr Roosevelt Skerrit expressed pleasure and highlighted that he is glad that under his leadership and continuous efforts of his Government, have taken Dominica to such new heights.
It is worth mentioning that Dominica has reached such heights because of the funds generated by the Citizenship by Investment Programme, which has largely contributed towards the construction, rehabilitation and re-establishment of the climate-resilient and robust infrastructure.
Dominica, which is known to offer one of the world’s best CBI programmes, has also majorly focused on the sports sector. Along with the infrastructure, the funds generated through the programme is also utilized for the development and betterment of the sports fields, equipment and assisting sports persons in their sports training.

According to the schedule of the tour, the matches will be hosted by the Commonwealth of Dominica, Trinidad and Tobago, Guyana and Barbados.
