Dominica: G6NA result released; 79 students received scholarships
The results of the Grade Six National Assessment (G6NA) have been released by the Ministry of Education of Dominica in a ceremony held on Friday at Public Service Union Building.

Roseau, Dominica: The results of the Grade Six National Assessment (G6NA) have been released by the Ministry of Education of Dominica in a ceremony held on Friday at Public Service Union Building. With a total of 920 candidates appeared for the assessment, 79 students were awarded with scholarships and 70 students received bursaries.
The Prime Minister of Dominica, Dr. Roosevelt Skerrit, congratulated all the toppers of the examination and extended best wishes to them for their future endeavours. He took it to his official Facebook account and stated, “Congratulations to the top performers in this year’s Grade Six National Assessment.”
The students of Ebenezer SDA Primary brought laurels to the school as 30 candidates appeared for the exam and out of which two of them made their place in the top 3 rankings of the Grade Six National Assessment. Maia Bertrand of Ebenezer SDA Primary School claimed the first position followed by Thierry Lauture of St. Mary’s Primary.
Moreover, the third place was again seized by the student of Ebenezer SDA Primary School, D’Andre Barrie. The fourth and fifth position was received by Ken-G Delsol- Kelleb John of Laurent Primary and Qitara Beaupierre from Pioneer Preparatory School respectively.
According to the data, a total of 413 boys and 407 girls took the exam, out of which 40 males and 39 females were shortlisted for the awardee of scholarships. The scholarship was reported to be given to that student who has secured a total of 18, 19 or 20 points in Grade Six National Assessment 2024.
Notably, there were 25 students who received A Grade in all the four subjects and out of which 14 were males and 11 were females. Along with that, the Government of Dominica also gave Bursaries to the students with 16 or 17 points. Out of 920 students, 70 of them were awarded bursaries in which 43 were females and 27 were males.
PM Roosevelt Skerrit wished all the success to students who sat in this year’s G6NA and he especially mentioned the Penville Primary School. The school turned out to be the top performing school this year as a total of 5 students appeared for G6NA and out of which 4 of them became the recipient of scholarships.
“Special commendations to the Penville Primary School, the Top Performing School in this year’s examinations. You have made your Parl-Rep proud,” noted PM Skerrit.
Following the result, all the toppers were grateful to their parents and teachers for always being their pillar of strength and guiding them in the exam. This achievement is a testament to the unwavering commitment and dedication of all the students who are striving towards excellence and elevating Dominica to greater heights.
