Deadline for Primary and Secondary School Art Competition extended: ABIPCO

St John’s, Antigua and Barbuda: The Antigua and Barbuda Intellectual Property and Commerce Office (ABIPCO) announced the deadline for the submission of the application for the Primary and Secondary School Art Competition.
The Antigua and Barbuda Intellectual Property and Commerce Office has extended the deadline for the submission of art pieces and entry forms for our World IP Day 2023 – Primary and Secondary School Art Competition to October 6th 2023, according to the latest update by the office.
According to the update, Primary and secondary school students are asked to create an art piece which displays a Caribbean female creator or innovator they admire as a hero. The art piece must be accompanied by a short description (200 words or less) of why the hero was chosen and how the art piece represents them and their work.

The PRIZES are nothing short of REWARDING, the office noted.
Primary School Prizes include:
1st Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $300 and a $200 AllMart Gift Card
2nd Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $250 and a $100 AllMart Gift Card
3rd Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $150 and a $75 AllMart Gift Card
The Secondary School Prizes include:
1st Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $300 and a $300 AllMart Gift Card
2nd Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $250 and a $200 AllMart Gift Card
3rd Place Prize- An ACB Caribbean Junior Savings Account with an opening balance of $150 and a $75 AllMart Gift Card
