In his keynote address, Minister Marin emphasized that under his watch, the welfare of the men and women of the security forces of Belize is his greatest priority.
Deputy Commandant of the BDF, Asariel Loria, in his acceptance remarks, said that this gesture of good faith by the Ministry of National Defence is well received by the men and women of the BDF.
Other functionaries present at the brief ceremony included Hon. Oscar Mira, Minister of State; Dario Tapia, Brigadier General (Retired), CEO in the Ministry; and Josephine Garbutt, administrative officer.
