Barbados Health Ministry releases exclusive vaccine schedule for Monday
The Ministry noted that jabs of Pzifer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Sinopharm vaccine would be available at the Vaccination centres across the island country.

The COVID-19 vaccination schedule has been released by the Barbados Ministry of Health for Monday, 15, 2021.
The Ministry noted that jabs of Pzifer, AstraZeneca, Johnson & Johnson and Sinopharm vaccine would be available at the Vaccination centres across the island country.
Following are the COVID-19 vaccination centres that will operate today:
- Sharon Moravian Church Hall, Sharon, St. Thomas will run from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
- Eunice Gibson Polyclinic, Warrens, St. Michael, will run from 9:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
- Masonic Centre, Salters, St. George, will run from 10 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Children who belong to the – age group of 12 to 18 years can visit any COVID-19 vaccination centre or pop-up clinic to receive their dose of the Pfizer vaccine.
The individuals who are willing to take their first jab of the COVID-19 vaccines are required to come along with their identification cards at the vaccination centres. Those who are eligible for receiving their second dose are also required to bring their blue vaccination card.
Booster shots for the AstraZeneca vaccine will also be available at all of the sites for individuals who are of 18 years and older who had their second injection six months ago or longer.
For individuals appearing to take booster shots can present either their blue vaccination card or vaccination certificate.
COVID vaccination statistics in Barbados –
The figures show that so far in the island country `151,082 individuals have received their first jabs of the COVID-19 vaccine, which is around 52.6 percent of its total population.
On the other hand, there are a total of 131,187 individuals (around 45.7 percent) who are fully vaccinated by taking required shots of WHO-approved COVID-19 vaccines.
Prime Minister Mia Amor Mottley has urged the unvaccinated public to understand their personal responsibility and come forward to take their shots of the COVID-19 vaccine.
