The Antigua Charter Yacht Show 2024 is something more than an event, it’s a story, an experience. From the 4th to 9th of December, the yachts will gather in Nelson’s Dockyard, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, as well as in Antigua Yacht Club Marina and Falmouth Harbour Marina.
Fancy about sailing right through over world’s 60 stunning super yachts, some of which are 90 meters long.
These examples of vessels can be considered not only as ships, but artworks characterized by elegant lines, luxurious furniture, electronic systems on board, staterooms, etc. That’s where the dream of the ultimate luxury embarks.
This show is not just an exhibition, it is a center of working creativity. Some of the attractions are a Chef’s battle “Concours de Chef”, where chefs serve tasty masterpieces; and “Tablescaping”, an event that has dining tables turned into pieces of art.
To that list, toss on a heap of seminars, local industry parties, and networking gatherings, and you have the pulse of the Caribbean charter season.
But that’s not where it ends, what makes this show remarkably unique is the location it is set. The best is Antigua’s English Harbour which has that beautiful backdrop of blue waters and colourful customs.
Most carriers are also observing free shuttle services between the three major facilities, allowing attendees to easily spend time in every nook of this colorful expo.
The Antigua Charter Yacht Show, at the 63rd edition, is a plethora of traditions and novelties. Discovered during initial conversations with brokers and suppliers, is that it’s not just a trading platform, it’s a community of brokers, captains, and vendors.
To the enthusiasts interested in luxury yachting, it’s not just another day of the year, it is the event of the season. If you are willing to behold the beauty of the romance of yachting, this Caribbean Island, Antigua is beckoning.
