The tourism authority of Antigua and Barbuda is all set to host the meeting for the Google Street View Project on 6th February, 2024. It is to be noted that the meeting will be conducted with the CEO, Federico Debetto and COO, Dimitar Kunev of World travel in 360’.

The Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Authority has extended a welcome to the citizens of the twin-island nation to learn more about the project and how to get the most from Google products by attending the Google Street View project presentation.

Notably, World Travel in 360 is an international company that specializes in creating Google Street View coverage and mesmerizing virtual experiences. This transformative project aims at displaying the attractive and beautiful landscapes of Antigua and Barbuda globally.

This collaboration between World Travel in 360 and the Government of Antigua and Barbuda exhibits a strategic digital renaissance for the nation.

Moreover, the project has been scheduled to commence in February 2024, with the initial Street View coverage becoming operational within a few months.

The tourism ministry of Antigua and Barbuda ensured that the digital mapping of the road network would enhance the accessibility for citizens and mesmerizing digital encounters for all the visitors of the nation.

The initiative will make the optimum use of technology and will serve as an economic stimulant by attracting a maximum number of visitors, which will contribute to the country’s economic conditions.

It is to be noted that the last webinar was conducted on 26 January 2024 and was attended by tourism-oriented business owners and stakeholders who were interested in promoting Antigua and Barbuda through Google Maps and Google Earth.

Therefore, the tourism ministry of the twin island nation has announced that people can register for the in-person meeting and reserve their spot. The attendees can discuss the Google Street View Project and its impact on the nation and the business opportunities it presents.
