Antigua & Barbuda set to host thrilling Sports Fishing Tournament
The Sports Fishing Tournament of Antigua and Barbuda is to offer a thrilling competition on high seas in the country on May 18 and 19, 2024. The Antigua and Barbuda Sports Fishing Club (ASF) has invited all the local, regional, and international sports Fishing Anglers to the Sports Fishing Tournament.

Antigua and Barbuda: The Sports Fishing Tournament of Antigua and Barbuda is to offer a thrilling competition on high seas in the country on May 18 and 19, 2024. The registration of the tournament is open till May 17, 2024 at the Falmouth Harbour Marina.
The Antigua and Barbuda Sports Fishing Club (ASF) has invited all the local, regional, and international sports Fishing Anglers to the Sports Fishing Tournament. This year, it is going to be the 56th tournament to be held in the country.
With the Sports Fishing Tournament, Antigua and Barbuda is looking forward to welcoming the anglers from all around the world to Falmouth Harbour. This would offer an action packed weekend filled with an amazing atmosphere that would offer great experiences, would lead towards expansion of tourism.
Considerably, Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Club highlighted that the nearness from the Falmouth Harbour Marina to Prime Fishing Grounds in the southern area of Antigua states the meaning that one is not so far away from the activity that is to take place offshore.
With the invitation, the details have also come forward for the tournament. It has been informed that all the boats, whether foreign and local, must be at the port of Falmouth Harbour Marina before 6 pm on May 17, 2024 (Friday). Moreover, all the boats will leave and return to Falmouth Harbour Marina.
The time schedule for the same is as follows:
- For Saturday (May 18, 2024), Bimini start time and lines in has been given as 6 am and 6:30 am respectively. However, Lines out and in by time mentioned are 4:30 pm and 6:30 pm orderly.
- For Sunday (May 19, 2024), no Bimini time has been mentioned and the line in time given is 5:30 am. Whereas, lines out and in by time for this is 4:00 pm and 6:00 pm respectively.
The Antigua & Barbuda Sports Club as well have informed the public that in case any of the boat gets hooked up or is reported fighting before 4:30 pm on May 18 (Saturday) will have the time till midnight to return to the port.
