Antigua and Barbuda set to celebrate Tourism Wellness Day

Antigua and Barbuda: Mark your calendars for the Tourism Wellness Day on Tuesday, Dec 5th, right in our ministry’s parking lot.

Antigua and Barbuda is set to celebrate their Tourism Wellness Day on Tuesday, December 5. It is a day of SOCAROBICS and Health Fair Fun.

The wellness day will be scheduled from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Ministry of Tourism parking lot.

The event will be sponsored by Frank B Armstrong, INET and esteemed partners. The day will showcase fitness with the incredible Cee Jay and grove to the beats of DJ Ruthless.

Notably, people will be able to avail the benefits of the following,

The Ministry of Tourism, Civil Aviation, Transportation and Investment calls people to join them for a rejuvenating day of wellness.

The most awaited day offers short-term residential programs to address specific health concerns and reduce stress to support lifestyle improvement.

The Tourism Wellness Day is celebrated as a part of Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Week, which will start from December 3-9,2023.

Tourism Week 2023 will be held under the theme: “Carving a path to sustainability through an empowered labour force.”

Events of Tourism Week

December 3
A Church Service at the Holy Family Cathedral, to be followed by a thrilling showdown as the West Indies take on England in the 1st ODI Cricket match at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium.

December 4
The Minister of Tourism will visit the colleges across the island for “Junior Chef Cook-Off Finals” and “The Minister Speaks College Tour.”

December 5
Wellness takes centre stage with “Socarobics” and a health fair.

December 6
‘Tourism Blast-Off’ at the Sir Vivian Richards Cricket Stadium coincided with the West Indies vs England ODI Cricket tour.

December 7
The Tourism Labour Conference at the John E St Luce Finance and Conference Centre.

December 8
‘Tourism Staff Fun Day’ on Ffryes Beach will feature games, sports, and entertainment.

December 9
The grand finale of Antigua and Barbuda Tourism Week 2023- the ‘Tourism Awards Gala’ recognizing and honouring excellence in the tourism industry.
